Sojet created their new flagship model, the “S” version of the Elfin 1, to address challenges when printing in areas where limited space is available. Also, the “S” model is “sealed” better to the environment, allowing for more reliable operation. With a separate 5” touchscreen controller, you are now able to install the print head INTO your equipment while having the convenience of controlling it from outside of the guarding. Its unique design provides all the power of the original Elfin 1, in a package that allows for printing clearly and precisely in more challenging environments. The built in dust cover allows ambient dust to be repelled from the ink cartridge area, allowing for even more reliability. Its’ robust, all metal construction allows for the industrial environment it was designed to work in.

This handheld version of the Elfin 1 unit includes a built-in encoder and guide wheels to allow for custom printing on most any flat surface. It’s bionic design allows for comfortable handling and coding while its included aviation carry case, and two Lithium Ion batteries allow for true freedom of mobility.

Sojet upped the ante by providing a two-headed printer for more versatility. The included two heads can be used independently for two, ½” print coding lines OR they can be stitched together to allow up to 1″ of print, including text, graphics and barcodes. You select which mounting system you prefer. It also includes a larger 7″ touchscreen controller that is separate from the printhead assemblies.

The Elfin 6 series allows 3 to 6 printheads to be used either independently (1/2″ print height each) OR stitched together to create from 1.5″ to 3″ of print height. Customer decides how many printheads they wish to use and what method they wish to use to print, individually or stitched. Comes with the same large 7″ touchscreen and easy-to-use icon based software. Also comes in the Elfin 6C (curved) version.

Same as the Elfin 2, this version comes with the unique “curved” printhead design which allows for the same codes to now be printed on curved surfaces where the original Elfin 2 may not suffice. Still has all the same features as the Elfin 2.

The “E” version of the Elfin 6 is specifically designed to print on eggs, directly in the egg tray, using edible ink. It uses the “curved” version printheads in a specially designed frame that allows for custom setup to individual egg producers requirements.

The APLINK MX series printers are amazing, full featured printers, capable of up to 140 mm. The larger head sizes use Seiko printheads which already sets it apart from the standard heads normally used. The Seiko printhead is a highly reliable print engine which is reflected in the specification that it can normally endure up to 50% more activations in its life versus the nearest competitor. Typical printhead life is between 7 – 9 years using it one shift per day, 5 days per week.

One unique characteristic of this printer is that the printhead can receive fairly serious blows, hits and impacts while not losing any channels of print quality. Forget the continuous purging and priming of other systems, this procedure is almost completely gone in this unit.

Programming is done via PC or laptop and can be uploaded to the printer unit via Ethernet, USB, TCP or Wi-Fi. The MRX series printers are capable of printing all true type Windows fonts, graphics and all popular barcode protocols.
The printer also comes in the MRX UV model which, using UV curing ink and a heavy duty UV curing on-board LED lighting, allows barcodes and any other information to be applied to NON-POROUS surfaces such as plastic and steel.

APLINK MRX UV LED High Resolution Inkjet Printer, with integrated UV LED Curing On Board Security System®, is developed to print directly on non-porous surfaces such as coated cases, trays, films, etc.

This industrial marking system incorporates an exclusive design with integrated LED lamp allowing UV LED-based ink dry instantly by polimerization.

Designed and manufactured to print texts, images, logos, symbols and any 100% legible 1D/2D barcodes compatible with GS1 standards (GTIN13, GTIN14, G21-128, GS1 Datamatrix…).

The United Barcode Systems Inkjet Printing Technology is design for secondary packages of non-porous surfaces, such as non-porous cases, cardboard trays with strech film and plastic bags, etc.

4th generation piezo electric print head allows printing messages up to 72 mm height, of high contrast, using UV LED-based ink, at resolutions up to 180 x 720 dpi and speed up to 60 m/min.

Thanks to its modular design, the High-Resolution Inkjet Printer APLINK MRX UV LED allows simultaneous use of 1 to 4 printheads. The controller unit with a 10.1” full color touch screen and intuitive graphic interface, allows the operation of each printhead independently.

Our low Migration and low viscosity UV LED curable ink, stored in non-pressurized ink bottle, can be replaced in non-stop mode.

The innovative temperature and drop volume control technology and UV LED instant curing system, are a great tool for cost-saving on the production line, ensuring a low consumption and a reliable print out.

APLINK MRX UV LED Case Coding Printer can be connected to any information or automation system through the UBS Labman 4.0 software, which allows the management and connection of all data with any ERP, MES, WMS or DBMS system, facilitating traceability in the production line.

The EV3 is Digital Design, Inc’s newest addition to the HP powered Evolution series of printers. Being quite affordable, it is capable of stitching up to 4 printheads together, allowing for up to 1″ high alphanumeric codes and up to 2″ high graphics and barcodes. It uses a fully featured touchscreen controller and stylus. The controller can also handle a second bank of 4 printheads for the opposite side of the production line printing the identical code.

The EV1 HP printer is Digital Design, Inc’s lowest costing basic printer capable of providing up to ½” of graphics, barcode or alphanumeric characters using HP powered ink cartridges. Ready to print, out of the box, it is able to print using various ink types and colours. Optional software enhancements allow the printer to contain up to 48 characters per line of text, date, time, expiry date, logo’s, passwords and many other features. The EV1 comes standard in two font sizes, single ½” and twin 7/32″ and is completely made and assembled in the USA.

The EV2 HP printer is Digital Design, Inc’s fully featured non-stitched Hewlett Packard printer. Still limited to ½” graphic, barcode or alphanumeric characters per printhead, the EV2 has every option that is available on the EV1, but also contains the ability to print up to four lines of text from one head and has eight different types of barcode onboard. Made in the USA.

The EV1 LX is identical to the Evolution I (EV1) in every way except it uses a lower cost Lexmark ink cartridge instead of an HP ink cartridge. The LX ink cartridge allows for some unique differences, including allowing for increased distances between the product and the printhead while still providing a clear, crisp code. Made in the USA.

The EV2 LX is identical to the Evolution II (EV2) printer in every way except it uses a lower cost Lexmark ink cartridge instead of an HP ink cartridge. The EV2 LX also is able to print limited mixed fonts within one message. Increased distance between product and printhead is also beneficial. Made in the USA.

The EVSC is Digital Design, Inc’s answer to providing CIJ type ink codes on substrates that are more difficult to print on and require smaller print characters. The ink cartridges are uniquely different than the standard HP or Lexmark ink cartridge. This printer type is a great alternative to more pricey and maintenance intensive Continuous Inkjet printers. Made in the USA.

The EV1-HH and EV2-HH are identical to their permanently mounted counterparts except you now have the ability to become mobile and print virtually anywhere. The HP version does not allow an encoder on-board but will print with all ink types, including non-porous solvent inks. The Lexmark version has an on-board encoder for perfect prints each time but is unable to print using non-porous ink types at this time. All units are made in the USA.

The Anser U2 printer is a fully featured HP powered high resolution printer. Each unit is completely ready to print out of the box and includes all mounting hardware, shock absorbing, spring loaded printhead with full colour screen, power supply, handheld remote control, 4Gig SD card loaded with manual and full PC message creating software and included USB card reader and writer. It is also capable of printing up to four lines of text, ½” barcodes (including available 2D dot-matrix), date, time, expiry date, serializer and many other features. The Anser brand printers are made in China.

Same as the regular U2, the Mobile version is simply a handheld version of the same, with one exception – the U2 Mobile has a built in encoder which allows for perfectly scanned barcodes each and every time. It also allows for perfectly sized and placed codes each time it is used. Aim, pull the trigger and roll it along the surface for a beautiful code up to ½” in height.
